The original timers changed their time as the power supply fluctuated and the relays failed due to flock dust entering the relay contacts area. The mounting and pin compatible 'upgrade delay timer' has an adjustment control giving from 1 to 27 seconds delay time and is accurately controlled and independent of the machines +24Vdc power supply fluctuations. When +24v is applied to the board it will remain inactive as long as the I/P terminal is connected to the RESET input. When the input signal relay switches over to connect the I/P to the TRIGGER terminal and leave the RESET terminal unconnected, the timing starts and after the period determined by the rotation position of the timing potentiometer the relay will pull in and the LED come on. When the input signal relay returns to its previous position with the I/P terminal connected to the RESET terminal leaving the TRIGGER terminal unconnected, the relay will drop out and the LED go off.

The timing can be restarted at any time, before the relay has changed and the light come on, when the I/P terminal is taken to the RESET terminal and released.

The signal inputs are protected for over voltage, to 50 volts. The power supply input circuit provides good rejection to conducted electrical noise.

This cam detector is a direct electrical and mechanical replacement for the micro switches used on the winding machine. It operates on a NO CONTACT optical detection principle thus eliminating physical wear. It has a sensitivity control and “alarm” indication LED, which can be easily used to assist in the sensitivity adjustment.

This panel mounting module (shown out of its housing) is primarily designed for use in monitoring the safety fault sensor wires on a Jackard Carpet Loom, or it can be applied to any wiring system where the security of the actual wires needs monitoring and the status relaying to another control system.

This panel mounting control module and replacement optics are designed for use in detecting the fast movement of uncut yarn passing along a carpet loom. It is very cost effective and has power and output status indications. The supply is low voltage ac and the output is a changeover voltage free relay. The optical head electronics (lower circuit boards in the picture - with the detector shown on the reverse of the receiver board on the right and the transmitter board with infra red transmitting diode shown on the left) are provided already installed in the original optical heads as sent to us by the customer. The original light source and reciever can be seen at the top of the picture. The control board (shown out of its housing) can be viewed by clicking on the picture.
